Yoga to Relieve Anxiety and Stress - Yoga with Kari

This class is offered both virtually on zoom and in person. All are welcome. Alignment-based.

The tensions of daily life can impact your emotions and energy system that may create imbalances which can affect your good health. This yoga class is dedicated to pacifying (relaxing) the nerves.

The pranayama (breathing techniques) and asana (yoga poses) practice are designed to calm your nervous system, so that you can switch out of the flight, fright, or freeze response (sympathetic nervous system) and move into the rest and digest response (parasympathetic nervous system).

When you are connected to your parasympathetic nervous system it is easier to release stress, tension, and anxiety, so that you can breathe deeper and feel calm, relaxed, safe, confident, and more energized.
