Chris Ellsworth

My name is Chris Ellsworth.  In June 2023, I received my 200 YTT certification.  Horses brought me to yoga!  Yoga has provided me a way to connect with my big, beautiful beings on a level they can feel and understand.  By being aware of my  body, energy and breath I am able to communicate more deeply than with words.  I especially enjoy bringing Gentle and Slow Flow Yoga to others by helping them feel grounded and more aware.

Join me on Wednesdays 11am-12pm for Gentle Yoga

More about Chris

My journey into horsemanship began in July, 2018. I answered a call to be a volunteer feeder for Horse North Rescue in Lake Ann.  I am still helping at the rescue weekly along with now having 4 horses at my home. When I began at the rescue I wasn't aware of energy, mine or the horses or of connection.

These traumatized, often shut down sentient beings started me on a path of learning that I would never have embarked on my own. My desire to better understand horses and their behavior has lead me to yoga. By working on my own breath and grounding my body I can quiet my mind chatter which in turn helps the horses calm their own nervous systems.  It's a beautiful connection!

This is what I want to bring to my Slow Flow Yoga classes.  I want to help people use their breath with movement to feel calm, at peace and grounded.
